Tariah Pitts, Nursery Attendant

Tariah Pitts is the Nursery Attendant at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. In this role, she looks after the children during worship, providing a safe, caring, and engaging space for them while their families participate in the service. She loves spending time with children and finding ways to engage them, and she finds that their energy, curiosity, and joy make every Sunday a little brighter.

Through her ministry, Tariah helps create a welcoming and supportive environment for families. By caring for the children during worship, she allows parents and caregivers to fully engage in the service, knowing their little ones are safe, cared for, and having fun. Her hope for Abiding Presence is that people will continue to come to the church to deepen their connection with God and with the wonderful community there.

Outside of church, Tariah finds joy in dancing, singing, exploring creative outlets, and connecting with people. She values any opportunity to express creativity and build meaningful relationships. One of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 14:10: “You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.” This verse reminds her that we are all walking through life together and encourages her to lead with compassion, extend grace, and avoid judgment.

A fun fact about Tariah is that she loves to travel. Her first trip outside the United States was a study abroad experience in Europe, and she is always happy to share stories about it.
