Revisions for 2026 Annual Meeting Approval
APLC is revising its governing documents (Constitution, Bylaws, and Continuing Resolutions) to follow the latest revisions of the ELCA's Model Constitution for Congregations (as updated in 2025). The revised version below will be voted on at the June 28, 2026 Annual Congregational Meeting.
Please note that the model Constitution is updated every three years. The relevant updates for the latest revison are highlighted in the revised Constitution document below.

2023 Revisions
APLC revised its governing documents (Constitution, Bylaws, and Continuing Resolutions) in 2023 to follow the latest revisions of the ELCA's Model Constitution for Congregations and to reflect changes to our ministry that have occurred since our last revision. The revised version below was voted on at the June 4, 2023 Special Congregational Meeting called for this purpose.
